I just had a colonoscopy

I have been purchasing Jim’s Colon pills for over a year and have been taking them everyday. I just had a colonoscopy and everything was clear except that my colon was dark (melatonin)and not pink.
The Dr. attributed this to overdosing on laxatives. I only take one pill a day. When told about the pills the Dr. said that Senna could contribute to this. I know that this is one of the ingredients. What are your thoughts on this? I will probably stop taking the pills now. I am hoping that my colon will return to normal.
